We understand that customers have different energy and power needs, thus the PSW Group hybrid battery system is designed to enhance the overall operation of your rig or vessel. The system ensures reduced maintenance costs and fuel savings, as well as substantial emission reductions. The hybrid battery is integrated with conventional diesel engines, and offers significant efficiency improvement by running the engines on optimal load and absorbing many of the load fluctuations through batteries.

By increasing the power redundancy, the system allows the engine to operate with the highest efficiency and lowest emissions, which will result in reduced maintenance need and increased system performance. The PSW Group hybrid/battery system is suitable for new projects, as well as retrofits of existing installations.

PSW Power & Automation has installed the solar power plant on the roof of parent company PSW Group's new facilities in Mongstad. With its 1200 solar panels over 2500 square meters, the plant is the tenth largest in Norway, and the building's own power generation is approximately 350,000 kWh per year.
